Aerial Dance Retreat
CHARLESTOWN, NH
Thursday March 20th - Sunday March 23rd, 2025
Join us for a weekend of Aerial Dance. This 3 night weekend retreat for up to 7 people, will center around developing and performing an aerial dance routine taught by Kelly Downing.
Arrive and settle in on Thursday March 20th between 5 and 6:30 PM and enjoy some light snacks before jumping into your first Aerial Dance Session with Kelly from 7 - 9 PM.
Friday and Saturday will be full days of Aerial in the silks for up to 6 hrs each day! In order to pace the physical demands on your body we will be offering a special session to teach you how to choreograph your own aerial dance routines in addition to a bit of meditation, gentle stretching and other mindful activities. The weekend will culminate with the final dance performance on Saturday night where family and friends will be invited to watch via live stream.
We will end the retreat with a Saturday evening celebration and Sunday morning closing ceremony and final breakfast together Departing at 10:30 AM on Sunday March 23rd.
In addition to lodging, all meals and snacks will be included throughout the weekend with coffee, tea and water available throughout the day and wine with dinner. Feel free to bring additional drinks and snacks.
Accommodations
We will be staying at the Round House on the Connecticut River in Charlestown, NH. Located 2 hrs from Nashua, this beautiful and unique house will be our home for three nights. We will spend most of our time set up for our aerial practice in the large circular living room, however we invite you to pack warm outdoor clothes so that you can take advantage of the outdoor deck, fire pit, dock and hiking trails. This cost includes 3 nights lodging and all meals from Thursday evening dinner through Sunday morning breakfast.
