Choose a food you wish to meditate on. Set a time for 10 or 15 minutes. During this time eat in silence with all your thoughts and focus on the food you chose to eat. Smell it. Touch it. Taste it. What comes up for you during this time? Where does your mind go during this time? Do things taste different after slowing down and focusing on them?
How do you practice mindfulness in your everyday life? How about when you feel too busy to find the time? Or when you aren't in an environment that supports mindfulness such as a loud home or stressful work environment? How do you practice mindfulness when you feel angry?
How can you turn your anger into something positive? Think about the part in our book where it mentions compost can turn to flowers, and anger can transform into something beautiful if it's nurtured mindfully.
What are ways to flip your mindset? What are things you say now that with a slight twist of words can become positive such as saying "what's not wrong" instead of "what is wrong"?
What was the last hug you received? Did it feel meaningful? Who is someone you wish you could give a long hug to (alive or someone who has passed)? How would it make you feel? How do you think it would make the other person feel/react?
What are ways you can connect more to nature?
